Family and Parents Coaching
As a parent, you know your child better than anyone, and you know when s/he is happy, full of self-confidence, motivated and achieving well in life, or is angry, frustrated, demotivated, uninspired and sad. Children who are suffering from boredom, are demotivated, have self-esteem issues, are going through emotional turmoil or academic underachievement find life really tough. Often children cannot express how they are feeling in the right way. Sometimes, children withdraw, other times they are difficult and misbehave. They need guidance and support. That’s where I come in. I provide experienced, expert parent and family coaching for young high-achievers.
How is your family doing right now? Do you have an ambitious high performer, gifted or talented child, who wants to achieve a particular goal or aspiration? Does your bright child have SEN and need some support and direction? Maybe you are going through challenging times at home, or going through separation, and your children aren’t coping well? At times like these, having a personal high performance coach will make all the difference to the success and happiness of the whole family, especially your children.
If your child is suffering from low self-esteem, showing signs of frustration, retreating within or is disaffected about life or school, you will be suffering too. It is important that you discuss this with a qualified professional like me who can steer you in the right direction and reassure you.
Plan of Action
There is overwhelming theory-based evidence about the benefits of parents being involved in their children’s education. Parental involvement positively affects children’s academic and non-academic performance. Together, we will explore and find excellent solutions to improve your child’s performance and self-confidence, focusing on current and future well-being. Better academic achievement leads to improved emotional and social personal development, fewer behavioural problems, higher achievement, and most importantly, a love of life.
I work with parents to help you develop a plan of action to manage the academic and emotional impact of your child or young adult having any form of difficulty or giftedness, so that your child leads a happier life at school, university and in the workplace. The world of education can be a mind field, but I will help you find a positive way forward. With guidance, you will feel supported and empowered.
